


Looking for a unique summer experience for your child? Look no further than summer camp in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where children learn new skills, grow in self-confidence and heighten their creativity while having a great time in a safe, caring, and child-centered environment.
Our camps focus on hands-on encounters and emersions with the arts and natural sciences. We strive to give children more than just the traditional camp experiences, but also provide those important facets of camp; such as hiking, campfires, and camp games!
Our overnight camps are accredited by ACA.
Summer Camp 2010 Sessions:
Theatre Camp: June 20 - 25, 2010
Develop your performing arts skills in acting, voice, movement and stage combat with the Magical Theatre Company. Campers will learn and perform scenes from classic plays and films that utilize the outdoors as a stage. It's a week of fun, fantasy, and drama in the forests and fields of the national park.
For those entering grades 4-10.
Fee: $425/week

Survivor Camp: June 27 - July 2, 2010
Are you ready to test your survivor skills? Can you build a fire...without matches? Can you solve complex puzzles...just before time runs out? Take on the brain teasers and physical endeavors of a week in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Through daily adventures, you will sharpen the skills necessary to take on the ultimate task: spending your last night sleeping underneath the stars. Will you accept the 'Survivor' challenge?
For those entering grades 5-9.
Fee: $425/week
Multi-Media Arts Camp: July 11 - 16, 2010
Join local master artists for a week of diverse art exploration. Campers will experiment with a variety of art mediums like music, movement, and visual arts. View the forests and fields through the lens of a camera, see how your body moves to different rhythms, and make a masterpiece inspired by nature. Let the natural world infuse your creative expression as you draw, dance, and discover yourself in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
For those entering grades 5-9.

Junior Ranger Overnight Camp: July 18 - 20, 2010
Explore, discover and learn as you are guided by national Park Service rangers during this three-day/two-night minicamp. Campers can choose activities involving wildlife observation, pond and stream studies, fossil investigation, nature photography and much more!
For those entering grades 3-5.
Fee: $215/week
Junior Chef Camp: July 25-30, 2010
Want to learn how to cook using fresh, local foods? At Jr. Chef Camp, area chefs will work side by side with campers to develop incredible dishes using local farm-fresh products. Visits to farms where some of the products come from, tasting sessions, and preparing appetizers for parents at the end of the week are all part of this new camp.
For those entering grades 7-11.
Fee: $425/week
Counselor-In-Training Program
Young adults ready to take a leadership role and learn more about caring for campers are encouraged to apply for the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program.
