Celebrate American and our 2nd Anniversary! Pop into Park Place for an afternoon with a NPS Ranger. Find out why your national parks are America's best idea with crafts, stories, games, and conversation.
Enjoy the sounds of ragtime and swing from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with the music of John Reynolds & Jon Mosey, members of The Crooked River Stompers.
No celebration is complete without ice cream! Something for everyone to enjoy.
Park Place in Peninsula is a gift store and welcome center located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and downtown Peninsula. The store offers unique gifts, books, art and apparel that allow you to extend your park experience. Our children's section includes activity games and educational toys plus a wonderful "tree house" that will host activities for children and families. Train enthusiasts will find a selection of railroad gifts and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad signature souvenirs.
