What are the guidelines when we rent a Park facility?
Rental policies will be provided in full when making a reservation.  Please click here to review our standard rental guidelines for Extraordinary Spaces or our overnight facilites at the Environmental Education Center.

What is the cost to rent a facility in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park?
Pricing depends on the facility, the type of event, weekend or weekday bookings and holiday schedule. Our prices range between $200.00-$400.00 for business meetings, $400.00-$700.00  for private events and $1,250.00-$2,000.00 for weddings. Facility fees include an on-site facilities manager, a six, eight, or ten-hour reservation period, on-site tables and chairs (and set-up) for indoor events, the option of offering your group a personal introduction to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and more.  Please call our reservations coordinator at 330-657-2909 ext 119  or email meetings@cvnpa.org for specific pricing based on the details of your event.

Can we bring alcohol in to the Park for a special event?
Only with a special use alcohol permit.  This permit is fee based and can be obtained only when renting one of CVNPA’s Extraordinary Spaces.   Alcohol consumption is restricted to inside the rented facility for the hours reserved. No alcohol can be consumed in public spaces or parking areas. As a general rule, alcohol is not permitted in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  

Can we bring our own food into Park facilities for events?
When renting one of Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Extraordinary Spaces, renters must choose from our list of preferred caterers.
 
Can we grill in the Park facilities?
Your selected catering group should offer grilling as an option to your menu selection. Our reservations coordinator can supply you with a list of our preferred catering groups.
 
Are facilities equipped with kitchens?
CVNPA’s Extraordinary Spaces are all equipped with minimal kitchen facilities that can be utilized only as finishing kitchens by our preferred caterers. Groups are not permitted to cook  in our Extraordinary Spaces facilities. 
 
How many guests can your facilities accommodate?
Please see individual facility descriptions for fire code allowance. The size accommodations may vary depending on your specific event and our CVNPA reservations coordinator will confirm accommodations based on your event needs and facility selection.
 
How do I make a reservation?
Please call our reservations coordinator at 330-657-2909 ext. 119 or email at meetings@cvnpa.org  for date availability. Our reservations coordinator will clarify event policies and begin the booking process with you. The booking process includes date and time confirmation, policy review and a contractual agreement with CVNPA.
 
Can we have outdoor activities when we rent a Park facility?
Any outdoor activities must be approved by a CVNPA event planner.
 
Can we tent camp in Cuyahoga Valley National Park?
Camp sites are now available in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park!  These camp sites are located along the Stanford Trail (behind Stanford House 6093 Stanford Road) for Towpath and backcountry trail users.  There are 5 designated campsites; each site accommodates two tents and six-people per site.  Each campsite is $18.00/day ($15.00 for CVNPA Members).  A water tank, portable toilet and firewood are provided for campers.  Please call CVNPA at (330) 657-2909 ext 119 to learn more and make your reservation!
