The Towpath Tag Program is an annual donation program that makes it possible for Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail users to join thousands of others in contributing to the maintenance and operation of the Towpath Trail. The maintenance, safety and operation of the 20 Towpath Trail miles within Cuyahoga Valley National Park cost an average $200,000 per year. With 100% of every dollar raised directly off-setting these costs, your donation truly makes a difference.
Visitors have donated more than $250,000 toward this effort since the program's inception in 1997. Perhaps you have seen other trail users proudly displaying their Towpath Tags. We hope you will join them this year.

Towpath Dog Tags
Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association introduced the Towpath Dog Tag Program in 2006 as a way for our four-legged Towpath Trail users to show their support for the Towpath Trail as well.
