Join an award-winning volunteer corps and make a vital contribution to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and our community! With the help of over 2,500 volunteers, we are maintaining our trail systems, protecting important natural, historic and cultural resources, and educating and engaging our local community.

The volunteer program is co-managed by the National Park Service and Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association and, depending on the job; volunteers will work with staff from one or both organizations.

Whether you want to spend time outdoors or prefer working inside, you can find a volunteer opportunity to suit you.  Volunteer opportunities also provide great team-building experiences for corporate groups, community organizations, youth groups and schools.  Sign up for our monthly volunteer newsletter.

Volunteer Center

The new Volunteer Center was dedicated on November 9, 2009! CVNPA successfully raised over 2/3 of the funding for this project from generous donors.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park's new Volunteer Center supports the operations and growth of the dynamic Volunteers-inParks program. The Volunteer Center is a complex of four historic structures located on two properties in the Village of Boston. It fulfills the volunteer program's needs for office, meeting, and storage space. At the same time, this project achieves the park's historic preservation goals for the buildings which contribute to the cultural landscape of the Village of Boston.
