National Trails Day 2010

Brecksville, Ohio - Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s (CVNP) Adopt-a-Trail program is holding the annual Adopt-a-Trail Training Workshop on Saturday, June 5, 2010. The workshop will teach the proper way to prune branches, clean out ditches and culverts, and report problems. The workshop is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Octagon Shelter, located at 801 Truxell Road, Peninsula 44264.
One hour of classroom training will be followed by a trail sweep of the Ledges, Pine Grove, Haskell Run, and Forest Point trails. Bring work gloves, lunch, water, and a small pack. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The workshop is rain or shine.
